And then… there are the areas around the Miami River. To accommodate the growth in the “Magic City” land purchases along the river have escalated over the recent months. The Miami River Commission’s reveals that about 4,000 units are projected for development over the next few years.
These sales include the following:
Andy Helliger, a developer of the River Landing project, promotes his nine-acre development with apartments and a linear park that hugs the waterfront.
There are also additional plans for these areas along the Miami River including residential housing restaurants, retail and shopping. Plans reveal a five-mile waterfront promenade and a mega-yacht marina.
Plans are in the making to renovate Jose Marti Park along the river with additional art including a sculpture by Janet Echelman. In Miami style, this artist will incorporate neon lights to enhance the rivers mood. Cleaned up and manicured lawns, a new playground and exercise areas, new plazas, and renovated pool will adorn the area along the waterway.
It is worth noting this area, along the Miami River is in close proximity to world renown Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The stage is set. Development is in full swing on the Miami River. For a complete list of real estate projects available along the river contact us at 305.521.9101.
